Waterproofing Assurance is a specialist consultant that provides design, compliance consultation and onsite quality control services for construction waterproofing in residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. We combine knowledge and industry experience within the construction, architecture and engineering fields to provide onsite and offsite consulting services for our clients.
We are a growing, ambitious and in-demand team servicing an emerging sector of the industry as a result of significant defects and subsequent legislative changes across the industry.
We are currently looking for an experienced Waterproofing Compliance and Testing Technician to join our team in Brisbane.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has some previous waterproofing experience, and is looking to move out of contracting roles and work independently.
You will apply and develop your existing knowledge and experience in waterproofing to provide our clients with advice, compliance testing and reports, testing a range of waterproofing materials, using our advanced testing equipment for compliance. Communicating with builders and subcontractors to provide a combination of on-site and off-site services, you will ensure that waterproofing works are executed in compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and best practice requirements.
This will involve:- Preparing, evaluating and developing reports for material application compliance
- Attending site to carry out compliance checks during construction phase.
- Preparation of compliance inspection reports and other compliance documentation as required
- Providing verbal and written advice on waterproofing compliance with Australian Standards, National Construction Code and best practice guidelines.
- Working as part of a professional team committed to excellence and collaboration in a self-disciplined / self-managed manner
- Ensuring accuracy in file management and record keeping.
- Assisting the Director with other tasks as required
A Certificate III in Waterproofing along with Construction waterproofing experience, and knowledge of various waterproofing systems will be highly regarded, however on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
