Established in 2011, Wittenbaker Engineering Services PTY LTD is Perth based and strategically located in Henderson within close proximity to the Australian Marine Complex. Our knowledge and experience in efficient manufacturing processes, complex mechanical assemblies and design engineering for mechanical components, enables us to manufacture products following a high standard.
We are currently looking for an experienced First Class Machinist and a Welder to join our team here in Henderson.
The successful applicants must have at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role, and hold a relevant qualification.
As a Welder with our team, you will be transforming raw materials into functional components in compliance with our clients standards and expectations.
Pertinent to your skill level and expertise the First Class Machinist will be completing jobs from programming to end of machining requirements, and be responsible for the overall operation of the machine, its maintenance, cleanliness, productivity and standard of work produced.
Additional duties for the Machinist role include:- Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, you will be required to carry out tasks as directed
- Set up, operate and program Fanuc Controlled CNC Milling & Turning Machines
- Programming using CAM software (MasterCam19) preferred but not essential
- Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
- Good understanding of ISO G-Code programming
- Select tools, cutters & inserts as required
- Able to determine the most efficient work holding methods & manufacturing process
- Use precision measuring equipment
- Complete machining dimensional inspection sheets
- Monitor equipment condition, report & follow through any faults
- Day to day cleanliness & maintenance of machine
Normal workshop hours are from 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday & 6:00am to 2:30pm on Friday. Successful applicants are encouraged to work 40 hours per week within the above normal workshop hours.
You will be offered a salary between $70,000 - $80,000.
